Hard to believe a beautiful lake such as this can exist just 25 minutes from the city! Just over 2km long north-south and 1km wide, Lac Gauvreau is up to 77ft deep at its deepest. This lake is bordered by rolling farmland, dense woods, high hills, and is only 10 minutes away from the picturesque village of Wakefield. More and more of the old cottages are being converted to 4-season homes, but many traditional cottages still dot the shoreline.
