Big, beautiful Blue Sea Lake or Lac Blue Sea is everything the name promises!

The southern portion is in the municipality of Blue Sea, while the northern portion is in the municipality of Méssines. One of the very largest lakes in the region, this lake has everything: deep water, islands, large bays, community trails along the eastern shore, and cottages and four-season homes on all parts of the lake. Though a little further to drive from Ottawa-Gatineau, this large lake is one of the largest an most desirable in the region, and families have been cottaging here for many generations.

Things I love about Blue Sea Lake / Lac Blue Sea :

• Huge open-water views
• Never crowded
• Generally more level terrain, i.e. not usually steep to the shoreline
• Some parts of the lake have excellent white sand waterfront

• Parc régional du Mont Morisette
