This sparkling jewel of a lake has tremendous variety for its size: long bays and a half-dozen islands, as well as a navigable channel for small and medium boats into big Grand Lake. Less than 40 minutes from Ottawa-Gatineau, Dame Lake has both wonderful cottages and 4-season homes.
