One of the bigger lakes in Val-des-Monts and only 40 minutes from Ottawa-Gatineau, Lac de l’Écluse is a deep lake with sections as deep as 151 feet. Large stretches of its western shore are crown land, giving this lake a very natural feel. A few tiny islands also dot Lac de l’Écluse, making it very picturesque indeed.
