These two small-medium lakes sit side by side and are both only 30 minutes from Ottawa-Gatineau. Both lakes are roughly 1.2km long end to end, and both are up to 80ft deep at their deepest points. Populated with both 4-season cottages and waterfront homes, both lakes retain a natural feel, with significant portions of shoreline left undeveloped. Leave the office at 5:00, be on the dock at 5:30!

Things I love about Lac Girard and Lac McGlashan:

• Convenience – need to pop home to take the kids to a soccer game? No problem!
• Generally peaceful, without many big boats
• Close to both Edelweiss and Mont-Cascades for alpine skiing and Nakkertok North for cross-country
