This huge lake has long been one of the most desirable in the region given its size and close proximity to the ski/bike/golf at Mont Sainte-Marie. The southern part of the lake can be reached from Ottawa-Gatineau within an hour’s drive, and this combination of size, amenities and relatively close proximity to the city makes Lake Heney a waterfront paradise. The lake is situated in the municipalities of Lac-Sainte-Marie in the southern portion and Gracefield in the northern portion. This beautiful lake offers excellent swimming and boating everywhere, and large sections of the eastern shore remain rugged and natural.
