Lac Pemichangan, known as “Pemi” to locals, is one of the biggest and most prestigious lakes north of Ottawa. Over 7.5km from north to south and over 5km at its widest, this lake also is over 160ft deep at its deepest. Pemi feels like a big collection of bays, islands, and peninsulas. One of the largest islands is almost 3km long! Close to Mont Ste.-Marie for skiing, biking and golf, making this huge lake an ideal 4-season destination.
